Our Services

Scope of Services

AMME Construction specializes in non-structural renovation services including:

  • Kitchen and bathroom renovations
  • Interior painting and decorating
  • Flooring installation and replacement
  • Tiling and splashback installation
  • Custom cabinetry and built-in storage
  • Fixture and appliance installation

Service Limitations

We do NOT provide:

  • Structural modifications or load-bearing wall removal
  • Major electrical or plumbing system overhauls
  • Foundation or structural engineering work
  • Building extensions or new construction
Quotes and Contracts

Quote Process

  • All quotes are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days
  • Quotes are estimates based on information provided and site inspection
  • Final costs may vary due to unforeseen circumstances or client changes
  • Written approval is required before commencing any work

Contract Terms

  • All work is subject to a signed contract outlining scope, timeline, and costs
  • Changes to the original scope require written approval and may affect pricing
  • Contracts include specific warranty terms for different types of work
  • Force majeure events may affect project timelines without penalty
Payment Terms

Payment Schedule

  • Deposit required upon contract signing (typically 20-30% of total cost)
  • Progress payments due at specified project milestones
  • Final payment due upon project completion and client approval
  • Payment terms are Net 7 days unless otherwise specified

Accepted Payment Methods

  • Bank transfer (preferred method)
  • Credit card (processing fees may apply)
  • Cash payments (for amounts under $10,000 AUD)
  • Payment plans available for qualifying projects

Late Payment

Overdue accounts may incur interest charges of 1.5% per month. Work may be suspended for accounts more than 14 days overdue.

Client Responsibilities

Before Work Commences

  • Provide accurate information about the property and requirements
  • Obtain necessary approvals from body corporate or landlords
  • Ensure clear access to work areas
  • Remove or protect personal belongings in work areas
  • Arrange alternative accommodation if required

During the Project

  • Maintain clear communication regarding any concerns
  • Provide timely decisions on material selections and changes
  • Ensure pets are secured and do not interfere with work
  • Respect work schedules and site safety requirements
Warranties and Liability

Workmanship Warranty

  • We provide a 12-month warranty on workmanship from project completion
  • Material warranties are as per manufacturer specifications
  • Warranty covers defects in workmanship under normal use conditions
  • Warranty does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, or normal wear

Liability Limitations

  • Our liability is limited to the contract value of the specific project
  • We carry comprehensive public liability and professional indemnity insurance
  • Clients are responsible for consequential or indirect damages
  • Force majeure events are excluded from liability claims

Insurance Requirements

Clients should ensure their property insurance covers renovation work and notify their insurer of planned renovations.

Cancellation and Changes

Project Cancellation

  • Clients may cancel projects with 48 hours written notice before commencement
  • Cancellation after work begins incurs charges for completed work and materials ordered
  • Deposits may be retained to cover administrative costs and material commitments
  • We reserve the right to cancel projects for non-payment or breach of terms

Scope Changes

  • All changes must be approved in writing with updated pricing
  • Changes may affect project timeline and final cost
  • Additional work is charged at standard rates unless otherwise agreed
  • Material changes may incur restocking fees if items cannot be returned
Dispute Resolution

Resolution Process

  1. Direct negotiation between parties
  2. Mediation through industry dispute resolution services
  3. Arbitration if mediation is unsuccessful
  4. Legal proceedings as a last resort

All disputes are subject to NSW jurisdiction and Australian Consumer Law protections.

Website Use Terms

Acceptable Use

  • Use the website for legitimate business purposes only
  • Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems
  • Respect intellectual property rights
  • Do not transmit harmful or malicious content

Intellectual Property
